Artists in the Clay Guild of the Cascades (CGC) share a passion about clay with each other and the community. Member meetings, educational workshops, cooperative purchases of supplies, exhibitions, and participation in charitable projects to help The Art Station and Empty Bowls, supports our aim to promote creative self-expression in clay, share knowledge and experience, and facilitate an appreciation of handmade pottery and ceramics.
Clay Guild of the Cascades meets bimonthly the second Monday of alternate months. (January, March, May, July, September, November). If you know anyone who might be interested in joining our guild and hasn't yet because of lack of information, shyness, whatever, have them come to our next meeting. You do not have to be a member to attend.
Events and Studio Tours will be scheduled on the alternate months of the Guild meetings when available. (February, April, June, August, October, December).
Thanks to The Art Station generously allowing us to meet in their pottery classrom, our usual meeting location is the Art Station unless we have made other arrangements to meet somewhere else for an event or tour. The meeting starts at 6:00. The Art Station is located at 313 SW Shevlin Hixon Dr. on the west side of the river across from the Old Mill Shops.
If there is something you want on the agenda, please contact David Warren at david@davidlloydwarren.com before the meeting. You are welcome to bring any food, snacks or beverages.

April Event Meeting will be a free potluck Thursday April 5th, 6:00 pm at the Art Station to welcome Doug Casebeer.
Doug Casebeer, internationally known potter, kiln builder and director of ceramics and sculpture at Anderson Ranch in Colorado, will present slides of his work on Thursday night, April 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Art Station. This event is free to all CGC members. Please bring food for the potluck, organized by last name - names A-H bring desserts, I-Q salads, and R-Z main dishes.
This special evening should be fun, entertaining and educational so please plan to join us. The 2-day Workshop will be held as scheduled at Cindercone.
Thanks to all of you for your participation and contribution this last year and don't forget to renew your membership. We are still keeping it at the lowered rate of $20.
