Empty Bowls

Helen would like a commitment from participants for the Pottery Olympics to be held August 6th. She distributed a sign up form.

Tents are needed for the event if folks have them available. Shelves will be provided for displaying items however, if people expect to have a vast amount of inventory they should consider providing their own
shelving.

Call for bowls for the Empty Bowls event.

Teachers are still needed for the pay-to-clay area (both wheel throwing and hand building)

This year's competitions will include: blindfolded throwing, largest bowl, hands free throwing, and partner throwing

Help will be needed on the 7th to trim bowls. Please bring your own trimming tools. Also there will be a glazing party in the future that all are encouraged to attend.

WILDFIRE

Currently there is ONE full booth and TWO half booths still available.

The poster is underway. Alan is working up an 11x14 and putting the project out for bid. He needs photos, JPEGS, slides, or whatever form of image to incorporate into the poster. He would like one image from each participating artist within one week. If more than one image is submitted Please specify which one you would prefer to use. He is also interested in images of flames.

The booth layout is complete.

Diane is finishing up the work schedule. The show packet will be ready by the end of the month.

Lynne needs everyone's mailing list ASAP.

The gallery Chair will take care of the "best of show" vote.

NEWSLETTER

Vania and Carlos would like more news about CGC. There have been lots of info about people and happenings around the State but very little about our group. They would also like more news and suggestions for a press release for WILDFIRE.
